June 6:

A generous Local built us a fire pit!

Wilderness Lily's Nature Count: 1 black bear, 1 doe, 1 woodpecker, 4 beavers, 2 frogs, many horses, many cows, seriously so many mosquito bites.

June 7:

Fentanyl & naloxone seminar.

Emily and I were educated on how to administer naloxone in the case of a fentanyl overdose. Later that evening we were gifted a tv and dvd player from some Locals.

June 8:

Water treatment plant.

Emily and I hope to learn as much as possible from the water treatment plant manager. That evening we enjoyed a game of baseball with some community members.

June 9:

Luna the tuna muncher.

Emily and I have decided to adopt a cat from one of our lovely neighbours. Her name is Luna because she is both sophisticated and playful like the moon.

June 10:

Canton Chinese & Western Restaurant.

Henry, a Councilman and former Chief, invited Emily and I to dinner with his family.

June 11:

Employability workshop.

Emily and I assisted the Human Resources Development Director in organizing and facilitating a employability workshop for graduates. The next day a parent was telling us that her kids had raved about our presentation.

June 12:

In good company.

Recharging after an exciting week of get-togethers around the fire pit and many new experiences including my first motorcycle ride.
