Hiking around the Ag.
Wilderness Lily's Nature Count: 1 black bear, 1 doe, 1 woodpecker, 2 beavers, 2 frogs, 13 mosquito bites, many cows.
May 24:
Judgement day.
Alex and Maggie, our Coordinators, visited us today. They were happy to see how we had integrated ourselves into the community after only two short weeks.
May 25:
Elder's bingo.
Alex, a previous fellow, was happy to reclaim his title as bingo caller.
May 26:
Unwinding after work.
After a busy day at the office it's such bliss to just sit outside and read over policy.
May 27:
Local recommended I add peanut butter to my oatmeal.
Today was spent assisting the finance department. Emily and I are learning a lot from working with all the department directors at the Band Office. Equally important we are learning life skills such as cooking, cleaning, maintenance, and budgeting.
May 28:
Peace River.
All our plans fell through so Emily and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch in Fort Vermillion.
May 29:
Restless from 5 AM till 1 AM.
